If not, you get more than 1,000 litres of cargo space with all seats in place and more than 2,000 litres if you lower the rear seats. That’s a lot of space! In fact, the new 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan is one of the most spacious compact SUVs in its class.
Under the hood, you get a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed manual, which means you still get impressive fuel economy despite the fact that you also get more power than any other entry-level compact SUV.
